Collagen Induction Therapy

Typical Dermapen Applications
Dermapen is recommended for treating:
- Aged sagging skin
- Fine lines and wrinkles
- Smokers lines around the lips
- Skin tightening and rejuvenation
- Large pores
- Stretch marks
- Scars (acne, surgical and burns)
- And many other cosmetic imperfections
Dermapen’s advanced vertical skin needling technology uses multiple needles that vertically pierce the skin with an automatic vibrating function. When moved across the skin’s surface it creates fine channels in the skin, stimulating natural collagen reproduction. The channels can carry up to 80% more topical nutrients, allowing for treatment delivery deep into the skin’s fibroblasts to feed the underlying cells found in the dermis and basal layer. This increased absorption of the active ingredients into the skin creates stimulated repair and faster resurfacing results.
Advanced vertical skin needling promotes scar-less healing and the regeneration of normal woven collagen, similar to fractional laser treatments but without the side effects or downtime. It’s also more effective than most microdermabrasion and chemical peels.

The Dermapen Difference
Unlike traditional skin needling rollers, the Dermapen causes less trauma and has minimal epidermal (skin) damage, therefore reducing pain and discomfort, making it a safer more effective treatment. The disposable needles eliminate risk of cross-contamination, and the adjustable needle depths allow for a treatment that is tailored to your individual needs.
|Traditional skin needling rollers||Dermapen|
The Dermapen offers a new option for patients wanting to avoid the embarrassment of acne scarring and wrinkles. It is a safe, comfortable and effective alternative to laser resurfacing. Dermapen skin microneedling treatment is indicated for all skin types, and when performed in a series, provides great results with little to no down time.
Dermapen treatment uses multiple fine needles that vertically pierce the skin in rapid succession. This action helps promote epidermal healing which is the primary function needed for collagen stimulation, fibroblast creation and the growth of elastin fibers. Unlike dermal skin rollers, Dermapen uses a precisely-controlled stamping method to reach a set depth in the skin while minimizing excess damage to the epidermis. The automatic vibrating function of the Dermapen™ increases the effectiveness of treatment by increasing absorption of products, while reducing pain and discomfort. Endurance Permanent Cosmetics is proud to be one of the first Micropigmentation Clinics New Jersey to offer this treatment.
Dermapen® Micro Needling 3D Animation Video
The following video demonstrates the advantages of treatment with the New Dermapen® over Dermal Rolling. It includes a side by side comparison of Dermapen treatment with Derma Rolling in 3D animation video. Dermapen is a mechanical fractional micro needling device that cosmetically improves skin appearance without harsh abrasive removal or vaporization of the skin surface. Dermapen's patent pending Dermapen Needle Tip uses a cluster of micro needles to deliver precision treatment the targeted imperfections.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is the treatment painful?
For minimum depth Dermapen is painless. Treatments over .5mm deep require a topical anesthesia cream applied for 15-40 minutes, depending on the needle depth being used.
How long should it take before I see results?
Typically, you will see results after the first treatment. Lasting and more significant results occur after 3-6 treatments (spaced 2-4 weeks apart). Your skin will continue to improve over the next 6-12 months after a course of treatments.
Is there any downtime after treatments?
You may experience superfical redness for 12-48 hours after treatment resembling a sunburn. Most people are able to return to normal activities immediately after treatment.
When can I return to my regular make-up routine?
Make-up or other topical creams should be avoided the day of your treatment. You can continue with your regular routine the following day.
